Beautiful work Boris! Classy, elegant marquetry and inlay.

You are really talented.

It is beautiful indeed. The marquetry is excellent.

Could you give more details about the marquetry? Like the veneer thickness, the cutting process and the embedding technique.

Boris,

The desk is gorgeous! If I made it (not a chance since I don’t have your talent), I wouldn’t let anyone use it without putting a glass over that beautiful work.

Great job Boris! Like the color combination, the marquetry and inlay!

Beautiful desk, I really like your marquetry work. I look forward to seeing your son’s bed.

Thank you guys for your comments.
The veneers was 3/64 thick, I cut it on my scroll saw, then glued it in to a 1/8 thick pice of maple, rout out the the pocket and then glued the marquetry on it and finished with the wenge around it.

Thanks Boris.
