this is magnificent ... and to hold dog food ... you make me chuckle

Toxins Out, Nature In - body/mind/spirit

If this is the dog food cabinet, I can't wait to see the kitchen!

Very Nice

That is a beautiful work of Art.

Absolutely stunning marquetry (and parquetry - I had to look that up).  Really incredible.
Thanks Ross.

BB1,
no, we’ve done this on several cabinets in the past and never sealed but it might make sense. Good idea.

The early bird gets the worm but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.

Any "Dog" would be proud to have his kibble stored in the cabinet.    Impressive work.   Really great.

So ornate!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

i dont even have the words to describe this cabinet. you say for dog food-lol but id probably store fine linens or china ! your work is some of the finest ive ever seen paul. i would never have the patience to do something like this even if i had the knowledge.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Beautiful craftsmanship. That is more art than woodworking to me. Excellent work.

Main Street to the Mountains

I have enjoyed following this build Paul.

I'm not sure I believe this holds dog food until I see a picture :) It seems like this should hold priceless works of art (or at least priceless dogfood!)
Ha ha.
Sorry to disappoint.

If you think this is silly you have to see my shop desk. 🤣🤣

Paul,

This one was well worth the wait to see the finished piece.  What a work of art.  We certainly hope your dog is well trained and doesn't scratch it, wanting to get to the food!

Some of us should be so lucky as this pooch is. As usual the work is impeccable, and a thing of beauty.

The blog is well worth the time to take a look at the making of this piece.
Again and again so nice to see your master pieces.

That was a fun day. I remember it well.

Many thanks all.😁

Don't let my dog see it.  He will wonder why his dogfood is stored in a plastic tote.

Earl, If you look at the open door pic I posted in comments you will see that hers are in a plastic tote as well. Even worse, it used to contain kitty litter! 😲

No words are sufficient.

More super human woodwork. I can't imagine what you store the fine China in.
Paul,

You must have a really great dog.  He / She is a lucky mutt.
