Who could possibly get sick of boxes, and wonderful wood. Cutting boards, perhaps, but not boxes. LOL You have more discipline than I do; I seem incapable of making the same box even twice. Nice work.
Roger

Thanks Roger-but if you ever saw my shop, you would take back the discipline comment!

You did great with the “rejects”.
Do you do the cove on the table saw or shaper? I don’t remember seeing a big bit to accommodate the cove on the router.

Mike,

Those are certainly some stunning wood grains that look even greater with your fine craftsmanship.

Thanks Barb- May your new year be twice as good as this one. More wood?? anytime you drop in I will have wood!!!

I wish I had the access to the wood that you do. I would have about fifty more guitars if it was available. But you have some fine boxes there, nicely made.

Just unbelievable! You are a great Craftsman in what you do. Where do you find such beautiful wood? I need to build an Urn for my wife to put part of her brother in and that wood would be so beautiful in an Urn shape.

These are SO beautiful! So interesting that you get the guitar drops – “one man’s trash…” What’s the species in the second photo? It’s spectacular! Beautiful craftsmanship.

Amor Vincit Omnia

Those are gorgeous boxes, the grains make the box. Using drops for a guitar shop is wonderful. Well done.

Yeah, that’s the bummer with dredging up these old projects…sometimes no one is around to accept credit for such good work. Oh well, at least we get to benefit from their efforts! I hope they know what a great job they did…

Now that you mentioned it Pottz he hasn’t posted in over 7 yrs. He could be in one of the great boxes.

It's already been said, so keep it simple and give yourself another pat on the back.

I saw this and was reminded that we talked about me buying some of that wood, but I got busy and didn't get back to him. Can't believe it has been that long. 🤷‍♂️
