Thanks folks! I have a few other things there I’ll have to pull them out but yeah the baskets are quite the art I took time out a few years back and learnt from start to finish and all the things I make are functional or known as utility baskets unlike the fancy basket which are pretty but are usually just that lol

I love woven baskets in general and yours is certainly well made and good looking too. Your description of ‘pounding an ash stick into strips’ is very tantalizing and it would sure be nice to have some details about how you go about it.
