Hiya John. I was a chief engineer in a 750,00sq ft hotel & convention centre working for CP. I got a gold watch after 20 years then worked for various companies as a HR manager. Retired now but never stop in the workshop. I would love to visit Rio. My jungle time makes me Leary of anywhere south tho.

I just love logging in every day and seeing what people have created. It never ceases to amaze me the skill and creative designs that people post here. The site is so easy to use and well laid out that every woodworker on the planet is sure to join once they see the site. I love wood and woodworking, hopefully every one else does too.

Hiya William. You posted your message to my page, it’s ok, but not many people may see it. Can I suggest, go to the forums link just below here then hit +new, go to the select forum area, then scroll down to the section titled introduce yourself and re add your message in there so most people can view it.

Thorreain , just want to thank you for your input on the sectional bowls with a pattern.Your right most people just see a nice bowl. When I take them out to the wood shop and show them the procedure . They are like " you have to be kidding me ! You did all that ? " yeah and I didn’t do over night either .

Thorreain – earlier in a post you mentioned the you had great difficulty with steps . My daughter and her friends and I built wheel chair ramps for each door ofthe house . It really helps me alot . I will need them someday any ways . Just a thought . Being in the same boat I feel for ya .

The ramps are going in the front this month, my son is going to replace the steps and deck. The back steps are inside and short, they may require a chair lift. I’m checking to see if the va will pay for any of it.
