Links on the pages doesn’t have to be secure to keep the website secure. Otherwise you couldn’t link to non-secure page like Wikipedia for example. Only the content that appears directly on the secure HTTPS webpage has to be secure as well – think images, iframes.

It does.

I was thinking that if someone was trying to link a page on this site and just continue typing after the http it would be an invalid link on this site since we have mode everything to https.
