I don’t know if it will work on termites, but several years ago I bought a bookcase that had been shipped in from England. It sat in the garage overnight and the next day I discovered woodworms as there were piles of sawdust on the floor. I sprayed it liberally with WD40 and wiped it down. Am still using it today with no further signs of worms.

Are you sure its termites and not powderpost beetle, I had the same problem but could not find any trace of insects other than the powder they left behind. in any case this website might be of help.

I’m with the BBQ idea. Or campfire. Whichever is more convenient.

Tinnman65. They are termites, as I saw them. BBQ, I like BBQ’s. Hmmmmm. :-)
