Interesting, certainly would be nice to have a long single piece of wood to wrap the grain around the front and sides. Not sure if it’d get much use from me for making a drawer with a bottom like his example, I generally don’t want a bottom as thick as the drawer sides. Would also like to see how it performs outside of using it on plywood. Pretty clever invention though.

Definitely has a possibility but, like Manitario, I would like to seat it perform with real wood, not plywood. General shop organization very useful, outside of that not sure.

I saw this a few days ago. It would definitely find a place in the market.
I can’t believe it would be useful in the
Finer furniture, however, if you wanted to
Slap together some substantial tote boxes
It would be workable. But so is my air nailer for that…..

Similar to a mitre fold way of making a box or drawer .
With plywood it should work but with the thickness variations through out the sheet I see problems and also by the time the setup is done I can have a drawer built .
I make my drawers with two sides and front and back and a bottom that is the outside dimensions of the drawer with two bottom mount slides ,works like a charm and it’s fast and any material can be used .
I pin the pieces tighter with a 23 gage brad gun not pinner and when assembled I add some screws with caps to hide the heads all nice and clean looking .
For shop drawers I like a 1/2" bottom for strength .

That looks cool, but seems a little complicated, and if you make one wrong cut the piece is ruined. I love new ideas, and would probably use this, but i dont know if its quicker.

The tablesaws in europe wll not accept dado stacks. It’s a safety issue, apparently having to do with braked motors. As an invention its clever, though.

I think it would be great for speaker enclosures where the grain wraps around. I would try it on other things. Drawers are something I always try new things on, but I’m hooked on Kreg for them for now.

Well it seems that the concept was to make a o e piece drawer. The drawer bottom was 1/4" not 3/4".
Personally I wouldn’t use it. Setup time and time to figure out these one piece drawers. I would have them built. Now as Thorreain stated would be awesome for speakers.
Great idea and id bet they’ll sell. But in a year you’ll be seeing them on Craigslist.
