Sorry it’s been a bad year for you Wolf and even though we have a troubled world all we can do is to try and improve our environment including the people around us. May this coming year be a better one for you and may your shop be a source of joy.

Here is a wonderful post that is from a fellow woodworker in Singapore. I follow him on IG. And liked it so much that it is worth sharing. Peace.

Happy new year. Sorry to hear last year was such a difficult one but here’s to the future and a far more positive and uplifting year ahead ☺

Alec,

A few words of encouragement and hope . . .

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6, 7

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3

Cast all your cares on Him [Jesus] because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” Benjamin Franklin

Thank you for that. All those words make sense in a way. I know that they make sense to you in a very clear way. I appreciate your wishes, I don’t think they are less than lovely. Thank you.
