I asked my assistant , Mr. Wigglesworth , to do some
intense research on your question. He said the answer
was, and I quote , “very doubtful” .http://www.ask8ball.net/
Mr. Wigglesworth only has a third grade education , but
he is very quick with a mouse .

I didn’t get to participate last year but I would like to this year.

I think that a plane would be a good idea.

so, one “doubt it”, one “like” and one “idea”
:)

I’m picturing a “mini plane” – easier and cheaper to ship.

Toxins Out, Nature In - body/mind/spirit

I’m all for a mini plane. 3" to 4" is a good size to keep in the bib while working. Krenov style is an easy way to start with the first plane you make.

Maybe if someone gave a tutorial I could participate, however i feel bad for the person that would get mine.

I only need two things to make a mini plane .

" Alright, Mr. Demille…….I’m ready for my Tutorial . "

Not a problem give me an address to send it to and I will get a wriggle on.

I have a few posts I could use it on here in Australia!

It will be interesting to see if its actually available here, or if its also in the in the Shop Fox and Williams and Hussey moulder list of unavailable machines. Boo Hiss!

I was not abble to find a dealer in Australia.
The nearest equivalent is the Makita KP 312 and it ranges from $3k to $4.5K
A more affordable one is a Makita 1806B at about $1.5K its 170mm wide.

You would want to get a good job to have to fork out that much loot for it, and you wouldnt want anybody to pinch it which tends to hapen on job sites.
