re: Fixture setup and sides

I've always wondered about that reinforcement "lining" wood with all the kerfs. 
Seems like something that would take forever. Seeing how evenly spaced your cuts are, you must have done something to make the process easier!

Still in awe of your build jig, some fine ideas there!
