Alex and Splinter. . . you are spot on about the sloppy imperial products that are out there. Since getting in on building Dutchy's plans, I have become quite a metric follower in an imperfect imperial world. So I now have sets of Incra rules in both, set up blocks in both, and so forth. I find metric a hell of a lot easier to use in many instances. But since I have easier access to Imperial, I do use it. I have made a dowel jig (modeled after one made by Ken on ACUTABOVE WOODWORKING) for accurate metric and imperial. But that still leaves me with the axles. . .the sloppy 1/4 dowels available get trued up to my brad point drill dimension and I move on. And I do understand Alex's distain of waiting for something to be delivered. We all, I think, have the same impatience. Oh how twisted the artistic mind is! Rahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. G'Day, gents.
