Yea, a lot of work for a groove cutter but the universality makes it ideal for knocking out a variety of holders.
My biggest slowdown in doing that kind of work is setup times. Always a struggle to juggle the order of operations when a single tool (router table) is involved.
Best thing I see, aesthetics wise, is it looks like one of Kel Snakes puzzle boxes!
