Gertie

Gertie is a sweet shawl that features a diamond of mesh stitches in the center, and triangles of double crochet on the sides. It is then bordered with more mesh stitches and a small scalloped edging. There is plenty going on, but it is not too busy. You can easily make Gertie larger with more yarn, so it can fit just about anyone with any shawl size preference.
