paw print dish cloth

Made up my own pattern for the first time using a diagram. I used a size H hook with the Lily sugar and cream cotton yarn. Would love to figure out a way to make this into coasters. Any advice would be great. I was thinking a smaller hook would work but guess it will be trial and error.
