Hello from SW Ohio. Woodworking for over 60 years, and an RN for over 48. I don't work anymore but my Ohio license is still active. I mostly did ER while I could still run, about 25 years of it, then I switched to ER light, and did Occupational health for most of the remainder of my working years. My Wife is absolutely NOT an RN  She worked in business where the pay, and benes were so much better. But she can do a great dressing, though she has crappy bedside manner.  :-) 

I too am a flat work kinda guy. Used to have a lathe, got rid of it for space for a wide belt sander years ago.
