re: Joiner’s mallet

Looks like a good mallet, YRTi. The one thing I don’t see that I’ve been doing with mine lately is angling the faces in ever so slightly (you may have done that, but I couldn’t see it). I find that makes me more likely to hit “square,” and it doesn’t take very much. I used a pine mallet made from tubafors as a test to get the angle right, since I could rapidly change the angle of the face with a rasp.
