For clarification, that last video I posted a link to (just a couple entries up from this post) does not show my shop (the one with all the pretty steel ducts…I wish I had that kind of room!). My shop is cramped and the ducting runs wherever I could find a place for it! I just posted it since the company updated their install videos and I thought I’d share.
Each tool requires (usually) a blast gate actuator and a tool trigger. That’s about $225 per tool (120v tools). You also have to have the GRIT hub, which I think is about $225, and one of the dust collector triggers..prices vary based on what kind of DC you have. I also have their air cleaner triggers integrated into my system (two of them), as well as a couple manual triggers and a few extra blast gate actuators to control branch gates. All in, I’ve probably got about $3K+ invested in my system (10 tools I think) but, since it’s modular, I did it over time, adding a tool or two at a time until I got it where I wanted it.
