Good stuff Dutchy.   Splitting the piece into 2 parts and doing a glue up is brilliant.  Too often we woodworkers don’t stop long enough to realize the safe way to achieve an end.  This should be a good lesson to all of us, experienced or newbie, that there are many ways to get to the destination.  But not all roads are the right one.  Thanks for a great article.
