Thanks Steve - about a month, but I don't get a lot of time in the shop and had a couple of other things going on, so it's not as bad as it sounds.

I'd guess probably about 10-15 hours of work all in. I started with a rough sawn 2x4 ash, so that saved a fair bit of time on dimensioning the wood.
