That is cool Bi'e49....Great to see a(nother) laser cut project posted.
No idea whether you're into puzzles, however, even if you're not, they make a great stocking stuffer for Christmas.
I have worked with a shitload of em at various stages of difficulty. I've only posted my new ones here at CN, however, they are all on LJ... All, files are available for download, however, format may be an issue.
CorelDraw files might be the best way to go to create SVG files using Inkscape.
he only downside is that my laser designs are based on 3mm and 6mm... however 1/8" and 1/4" can easily be resized... a tad easier than the other way.
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
