re: Sharpening Methods - Introduction

Thanks for the advice, Ken, duckmilk, and Mike. I don’t use my chisels a lot. I tend to use them as narrow scrapers (dragging them backwards to smooth grooves), but I also use them to square hinge mortises and notch out areas for repair. It does sound like a plate, sandpaper, and honing guide (and a strop) might be a cost-effective way to meet my needs.
