With my laser I always moved the pieces apart a tad like you do. Then I found the "delete duplicate cuts" button and fixed that, but then got tired of resizing all the parts to compensate for the beam width and ended up moving them apart again. 🙄
That last Atlas ad, poor "weakling" got so jacked up on the special Charles Atlas steroid gummies he now has a violent streak! 😱Â
