I agree, could have gone straight to the rebate BUT - I love using this plow, it's a beautiful plane and fun to use. I have two such plows, this one set by wedge, and the other has wooden threaded arms with beautiful wooden nuts. I'll use one of these plows every chance I get.
Yea, the referenced book probably will be very beneficial but I've viewed several YouTube channels with instructions on how to use, then I go to my books on making period furniture for ideas on contour.
My next project is a living room table for my daughter and I've already set my mind to doing it 100% by hand. Only electricy I'll use is for the lights.
