Yes, they’re great, right up there with French cleats IMO. My workbench top is  a torsion box: two 3/4” plywood sheets sandwiching 2x4s (with the curved top/bottom edges cut off) around the perimeter and across the width every six inches. It’s been in the garage for over ten years and is as flat as it ever was.

My favorite use of them is this shelving project.
