re: A box for a lid

Thanks everyone!
I really like the hinge pin approach used here. Saves all the usual headaches with leaf style hinges and of course the expense!
Still hesitant on the pinned butt joints. Always concerned with failure points but joinery will do whatever it wants over time and no failures yet 🙏

I just think of them as dowel joints with bling.
