re: My method for resawing

I have tried to re saw on my band saw but have never had any success the blade wanders all over the place and I resorted to  table sawing as much as I could then band saw the remainder to produce bookmarking.
Pretty much what you have done but a lot more kerf wastage.
I should revisit and give it a try
BTW is it blade drift or just the difference in the width of the handsaw blade and the bandsaw blade
