In my Camera store we had a repair facility.  I didn't do it, mind you, I hired camera repair people.  THE most repaired camera was Samsung.... not only in our facility but in the US.....I do have Samsung TVs in my house, but that is it and they do not have any moving parts, beyond that I will not own a Samsung anything.....

And I don't understand why you are worried about an ice maker...wine dies not work well with ice!
