I have customised handscrews with "V"s to handle circles, however, thin stock is still an issue, regardless of size... that's why I went down the air clamp path in general. Once started, I'm always on the lookout for newer/better methods... some work, many don't, but I have to try to determine worth.
I have dismantled one and am now considering making my own as the more I play with them, the more I find them handy, but my convenient choice is for "fixed scattered", rather than "continually moving.".. I have a fair amount of MFT work surfaces.
