A very underrated piece of kit. The only thing I didn't like was that most clamp shafts were just a tad too wide for the 3/4" holes for smooth movement.... might have been better if they were a 19mm metric hole... or even metric clamps. I never thought of dropping in a few 20mm holes when I swung over to MDF style worktops.... which the clamps work in (even the imperial clamps).
I keep a Workmate tucked in a corner, because they are uniquely useful for many projects.
I used to do the same but when folded, I kept forgetting... Then I made it mobile.... finally pimped it out with some storage... though folding became a tad problematic... should post as a project,

ONLY? Finding a clamp (or two) during glue ups must be a bitch!
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
