I made one with similar functions but had a screen for the base instead of your sub floor with the drains.
Straight plexy with the center diverter is also A+
Bad thing is it'll run dry just as fast as your previous version. There is no sating the feathered hordes.
I see drill holes center top on the sides. Was that where your magnets would have been?
