Weathervane 12

Wouldn't it be nice to go back to the day before Weathervane 7, and give myself a dope slap.
Edit 3/13/25  That would be the 2nd Weathervane 7 blog, if anyone is keeping score.

Been bugging me ever since, today I went after it.

Back then I put a bronze flange bushing in the bottom of the center section. I should have put one in the top at the same time. I remember the discussion.

Today, I put the body on the drill press the way the center section was when it got drilled before. I put it back to where it was right after drilling. It took a good while to do it. The big ply blank is cut down to fit the wing slot. That's how it was before. Every thing hot glued in place. Lining up 3 holes on top of each other,  where it coulda shoulda  been much easier.

It's not that dramatic when you have scraps to play with. It ain't a scrap before the project is done. It's same exact size.

The only way it can move now is round and around.
