Church Pulpit

1920
3

Solid oak frame with 1/4" oak paneling for front and side panels. 3/4" oak plywood for base and top, and bamboo for the shelf. Top flips up to reveal an enclosed outlet for plugging in power adapters for electronic devices. A short cord comes through the bottom to plug into the floor outlet.
Finish is two-tone stain with satin urethane and waxed after drying.

Beautiful that church is very lucky!

Thanks, Jeff. That was my first project using “real” wood. Until this I had only used particleboard and cheap plywood for everything. But the results speak for themselves.

Good build well done.
