Fedora style hand crocheted sunhat is perfect for anytime of year not just summer. Made with a tape style yarn in a khaki color that is sure to go with almost any outfit. This hat is packable and has a flexible wire crocheted into the edging that will maintain its shape making it perfect for traveling. A matching braided cord runs around the hat to add an decorative element, two wooden beads are attached and two tassels finish the cord off.  

  • The hat will fit most people with a head circumference of 22”-24” and is considered a medium.
  • the hat diameter is approximately 16 inches
  • the brim is approximately 4.5” wide
  • the hat height is approximately 5 inches 

I used a clear millinery wire on the brim that was purchased from a shop on Etsy called ElsewhenMillinery. I purchased the Clear Plastic Hat Brim Wire 1 yd - Hat Making Supplies - 1.25mm x 1 yard. 

The pattern is from lionbrand.com and is called “The Cleo Fedora Sun Hat” it has a lot of suggestions on how to adapt the hat to make out your own.
