A wood puzzle I gave a try. It's the wood knot. These small puzzles are a good way to use up the scraps

is this duck approved ?

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Cool,  I made a similar one,  actually it was pretty hard to figure for only being 3 pieces.

Figuring out how to do something you have never done is what makes a good challenge.

Took me a few times figuring out how to get it back together right after I made it
Would make a fun little gift.
I have made those before, been thinking about a few more. Maybe a few more pieces though.

I made them as gifts. Went with 3 pieces since it was faster. Since I wait til the last minute to start working on them.
I'm surprised pottzy hasn't slashed your tires yet C125... it was this blog that started me off on my puzzle venture... though my latest version is 3 different pieces... (more confusion).

In fact I mass produce this one out of 6mm MDF, creating 72 sets per run, and give them away for free, Xmas is a good outlet,

(one set is a oopsie)... took about 52 minutes to laser while I could indulge in some cask-o-vino... the rest will be consumed when making up sets to package... might Grinch it

and muck up a few sets...

The major cost and hassle is buying and placing them into small baggies.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Yeah, I got tons of offcuts..... Ohhhh you mean they fit together on purpose??? Jeesh how did you figure that out?
These types of puzzles can be fun or annoying, trying to figure them out. I remember my brother had a round one about the size of a baseball, there must have been about 20 pieces in that. as a kid I never figured it out. And have not seen one since.

It’s just mean if you don’t show how to solve it😡
The fun part is watching someone trying to figure out how it comes apart in the first place.

Where are you guys getting the emoji's

Main Street to the Mountains

Eric my daughter came home with a puzzle line that round one. I could get only part of it back together. This project is what made me buy a scroll saw.
Eric, I just use the ones on my phone.  And they only show up on the mobile site.  When I get on my desktop, all the emojis turn into question marks or exclamation points.
Lofty, if you're on a Windows PC, try Win (button) + . (dot)... if you're on a MAC, buy a phone of a Mickey PC.

Compliments of the  🦆...

Using the PC, will have to look around.

Anyone still confused,

or try the one below and to the right of the full stop if you're right handed and have more than one digit on that hand.

Here is the one I made.   (skinny version)   After it was put together I drilled a hole at an angle to put a pin through it.
This also adds another step,  if the pieces aren't turned the right way the pin won't go back in and the pin keeps it all together while it sits on the shelf.
