Figuring out how to do something you have never done is what makes a good challenge.

INLAY. I roll soft aluminum (or copper) wire 1.5 - 2 mm from an old transformer on rollers up to 0.5 mm and hammer it into a tree. In the tree in the figure, a notch is made with old sharpened screwdrivers or chisels.
The hole in the vase, that's a removed old bitch.
