band saw box

this is my first band saw box, lots of mistakes first of all I used to narrow of a block to make it. the wood is I have no clue. It was from china out of shipping pallets that I had gotten. these are the pieces that were all cupped and warped that was going to be fire starter for the wood stove. I glued them up watched a you tube vido and gave it a try. stained it sprayed poly on it here it is. the drawer is to small for much of any thing. excited to build more from my cut off pile.
