RingMaster storage box

Another in the long line of dovetailed pine storage boxes. This one holds my RingMaster (though I need to install a couple dividers to keep the parts from banging against each other) so I can get it out of the way when I need to turn something else.

Dovetailed construction. Glued and nailed-on bottom. Sliding top. I’ll probably put a couple rails on the bottom so it can sit securely below the lathe. But that’s for another day.

May you have the day you deserve!

Place for everything, everything in it's place!

Maybe the Duck can laser etch some box contents pictures for labels, you are starting to get quite the storage array 🙂

DAVES SHOP IN A COUPLE MORE YEARS !

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

I agreed, I could never find anything if all in a box.

Petey

Thanks, Splint. I just scrawl on them with a sharpie.

Thanks, Pottz & Petey. I figure it’s better to box it up than to find it broken when I need it.

Nicely stored!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

You are making a lot of nice Davetail boxes for storage:)

No name noobie here

A good idea.  I built the cabinet under my lathe in part so that I can make a garage for my Ringmaster.

--Nathan, TX. Hire the lazy man. He may not do as much work but that's because he will find a better way.

Thanks, Ryan!

Thanks, YRTi! “Davetail” ;-)

Nathan, I like the garage idea, but I’m not sure I have the space for it. I’m pondering if I can do some sort of quick-connect for the safety shield, since that’s the biggest pain to put together and take apart.

Nicely done, suits its intended purpose well.
Thanks, Tom! Trying to keep things from getting too chaotic in the shop.
