Very simple design, that makes for a great conversational piece that is very comfortable to sit and eat with room for up to 5 adults.

Nice way to fill that corner and of course the space is a bonus 👍
Nicely done.

looks great clayton. i did something similar except i did a booth with a bench on each side of the table and large drawers underneath.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Great build.

We have a largish Kitchen area, and our widows are 3 grouped in a sort of Bay window array, though they are 3 separated windows. If I ever get to feeling up to it I would like to make something of a window seat/storage area in front of them. We ever get another cat, I imagine it wouldn't move far from it as that is where my Wife keeps all the bird feeders out front.

Nicely done, good storage and serves the need.

Clayton,

Very nice work.  What was the (pain?) you used and how did you apply it?

Love it. I am hoping to do the same in my dining area
Thank you very much for the compliments. I'm new to this platform and I'm sure glad I came across it. I wish they had a like button for the comments, or do they and I just don't see it?

Welcome aboard! No ‘Like’ button. But you don’t need to.  This isn’t as much social media here as it is a running commentary. If you like something, just post good job or even a 👍🏼. More importantly, post questions and tips and build comments. Everyone is here to learn, so input and commenting is more helpful than maybe a simple ‘like’. But you can do that too!

I am going to be building something very similar this year. Your work is an inspiration. Love the frame and panel construction.
