Inspired by a similar project, I decided to take the challenge. This one piece project rises the question of ” How did you do that? ” The answer is less than %10 of it is turned on lathe and the rest is carving. I’m not a carver, but I did my best and took my time to do it though I don’t have proper carving tools. I used carpenter’s chisels and sanding paper. The branch is camphor laurel, sprayed by clear paint. Hollowed by 35 mm in diameter and 180 mm deep cylindrical shape. 270 mm tall
THE TIME YOU ENJOY WASTING IS NOT WASTED TIME.
For this one piece project, one word comment: GRANDIOSE
Perfect!
