PLYWOOD BALL
This is a new design for a spherical. 180 triangles of vertically laminated plywood that built on the same principle of the soccer ball. 20 hexagons and 12 pentagons. But, each hexagon made of 6 triangles and each pentagon made of 5 triangles. The number 180 doesn’t include the number of plies in each triangle. If I added that number, the number would be more than one and a half thousand. It is 160 mm in diameter and around 15 mm thick wall.
