HOLY MOLY!!! White oak is not a good wood to use when turning wood. This piece is made up of white oak, cherry, and maple. I wanted to try a glue wood together and see what I can come up with on the lathe. Not the greatest looking piece but I like it.

I need to create something!

It looks good . Oak end grain is hard to get smooth and finish. That’s the main reason when I do a oak bowl , I use the sectional method .
