Apothecary chest of 30 drawers

Made this with 1/2” poplar for body and front/back of drawers, and 1/4” maple ply for sides and bottom of each sliding drawer.

3’x2’x1’ total dimensions.

Dados/rabbets between each level and dowels at the outer 4 corners. 1/4” Rabbet edges on front and back of drawers And glued/clamped the maple into each section. Used red mahogany and golden oak stains respectively.

French polished shellac then #0000 steel wool then Howard feed n wax and light buff with the wool and an old cut up tshirt.
