4 Strand Lap Blanket

I just finished this for my dad. I had originally just picked the grey yarn for him, and was going to make a simple front loop single crochet blanket. But I was having trouble not adding stitches in it for some reason, and it cam out all wonky. So I tore it apart, and thought I would try using different coloured yarns at once.
I had thought about doing this before, but I wasn’t sure about it. But I was trolling the internet and found a really pretty 3 strand blanket, so I thought I would give it another shot.
I used a 15mm hook and single crochet with loose stitches.
The inspiration for my colours were men’s grey work socks:

(and then I added the green yarn cause I had it and thought it would look nice)

And I am in love with the finished product. I wanted to make a full sized blanket, but I’ve got a bit of a time crunch happening, and don’t quite have enough yarn, and the budget is tight at this time of year.
