Sweater for Sugie

I still have to add the front zipper, but the crocheting part is done. I made this for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. She likes to wander which makes me nervous. I chose the bright colors because I think you could see her from outer space. It’s a very dense pattern which will keep her warm while big brother is at baseball practice.

I used Jacket Pattern #1 from Crocheted Kid’s Sweaters, Kid’s Cuties, Art. J17 Book 0709. I bought the multi-colored yarn from the grab bag section at Joann’s fabric and used Caron Simply Soft in a neon color for contrast.
