Army Ami - Amigurumi Crochet Keepsake Doll

I was asked by a mom of 3 boys to make them each a doll, so she could give them to her children before their father’s deployment. I thought the rucksack would be a great way to put each child’s name on and then Dad could put a note in each one.

It was an honour to make these dolls for them. I work most of my dolls up in one piece, and crochet on the arms, so that they will last a long time. Knowing they will have this keepsake for years to come makes this doll design very special to me :)
