So I started this blanket with stripes of blue/blue/white, purple/purple/white, and green/green/white, but I didn’t really like how it was coming together. It looked kind of disjointed. so I decided the subsequent stripes would mix the same colours into different combinations.
The blanket itself is 3 strands of worsted weight yarn, with a single crochet stitch and a 15 mm hook. For the border I used a 12 mm hook and used all 7 colours of yarn and a single crochet stitch.
It turned out a bit longer and thinner than maybe I would have liked, and the colours really aren’t my favourite together, but the yarn is what I had so….well it’s done :)
The blanket is for a fundraiser for a friend. We shall see how it goes.
My advice: Believe in yourself, believe in someone else, let someone believe in you.
