Oak chest

Oak chest

Here is a chest I made for a friend’s daughter.

Tim nice chest what would something like that cost.

woodsman,
Maybe I’m just cheap (I call it frugal) but I thought the wood was ridiculously expensive. I had a few small pieces of 1×2 and some some 1/4" ply. This still cost me $240.00 in the rest of the wood and hardware from the big box store.

I love the look of it! Here oak is one of the cheaper materials, cheaper than white pine or bass wood.

Looks awesome! Love the figure of the grain.
