Joy, Inside Out

My brother’s girl friend asked if I can make Joy from Inside Out. I told her yes, I can. I found the best picture that had Joy’s features and stared at it for a while. She is my first amigurumi doll that I’ve created on my own.

I decided to add a little glow-in-the-dark puffy paint on her little flowers so she can stand out and shine at night. Her eyes are also g.i.t.d (glow in the dark). Her eyes are from Suncathereyes.

Details matter, but it was my choice to not give her a mouth. I felt that it would mess up her cuteness. (I’m not that great with facial construction). Her hair on the other hand, was tough. I had to use a stiffen spray before I can do any hair cuts.
