Frogs

The town I grew up in, rode the same school bus as my future husband, and now live in with him and our two boys, is very special to us. It is a small town in southern Indiana of about 2000 people. We are considered to be the Dogwood Capital of Indiana and due to flooding issues, our town has the nickname of “Frogtown”. To celebrate our town and in time for our upcoming 48th Annual Dogwood Festival at the end of April, I made these cute little frogs, each holding a dogwood flower. I made four different signs to hang around their necks. The back of each sign give a brief history of our town.

The pattern is based off of one by Oliver Boliver. I made some changes to simplify assembly by making the head and body one piece instead of two and by making the hind legs and feet one piece instead of two.
